Today, that heart beats even louder through McCartney’s Hope, a Special Named Fund under CCLG (Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group), created to honor Paul’s lifelong commitment to compassion, healing, and the future of our children.

This fund is more than a name — it is a legacy.

A Personal Call to Action

Paul has long spoken about the power of love to transform the world. Now, through McCartney’s Hope, he channels that belief into action — by supporting pioneering research into rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer of soft tissue.

The fund was created in tribute to stories like Jacob’s — a bright-eyed, courageous little boy who was diagnosed at just 16 months. Despite his strength and the boundless love from his family, Jacob passed away on November 25, 2019, just three years old.

His parents, Mark and Vanessa, turned heartbreak into purpose by creating “Jacob’s Join,” a fund that has since supported critical research projects aimed at building a brighter future for children facing rhabdomyosarcoma.

Inspired by their courage, and by so many other families walking this path, Paul has lent his name and his voice to a new movement.

Why “McCartney’s Hope”?
