MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) — UPDATE (7/27/25 at 8:05 p.m.): Accoraing to Capt. Jason
Kraft with the Ward County Sheriff’s Office, they have not yet identified the
individual who threw the object at Bryan.

Krait said they currently do not have a criminal investigation open on the matter,
since they have not yet received a complaint from a victim.

ORIGINAL STORY (7/27/25 at 6:30 p.m.): Country music star Luke Bryan was struck in
the face by an object near the end of his concert Saturday night at the North
Dakota State Fair.

A video that has now gone viral shows Bryan getting struck by what appears to be a
ball while singing what ended up being his final song of the night, ‘Covntry Girl.
After the incident, Bryan continues singing a few words, then pauvses and stares at
someone in the crowd, before continuing the song and finishing the show.

Shortly after he was struck, sheriff’s deputies could be seen heading to the area
where the object came from, though it’s unclear if they removed anyone from the
verve.

Your News Leader has reached out to the Ward County Sherift’s Oftice to learn it
there were any arrests or charges in connection with the incident.

We’ve also reached out to North Dakota State Fair management, along with a listed
agent for Bryan, to see if they wish to comment, and will update as we learn more.
