It was supposed to be a routine day — a supervised visit arranged by state services between a little boy and his father. But tragedy struck in the most unimaginable way. A 3-year-old child was forgotten in the back of a car by a state contractor, left trapped inside for over five unbearable hours under the scorching summer sun. By the time anyone realized, the child was gone.
