It certainly isn’t a stretch to say we’re in the golden era of NFL quarterbacks. Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Ryan, Philip Rivers and Eli Manning are long retired, and Aaron Rodgers isn’t far behind.

But this generation is loaded with superstar quarterbacks on Hall of Fame trajectories, including Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills), Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals), Jalen Hurts (Philadelphia Eagles), Justin Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers), Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens).

CJ Stroud (Houston Texans), Dak Prescott (Dallas Cowboys), Brock Purdy (San Francisco 49ers), Jayden Daniels (Washington Commanders), Jared Goff (Detroit Lions), Jordan Love (Green Bay Packers) and Tua Tagovailoa (Miami Dolphins) have periodically performed at MVP levels, too.

The popular @allsportsculture Instagram account asked ChatGPT to predict the top 10 quarterbacks for the 2025 NFL season. While Patrick Mahomes in the top spot isn’t shocking, it was surprising to see Trevor Lawrence (Jacksonville Jaguars) and Anthony Richardson (Indianapolis Colts) in the top 10.

After all, there’s a good chance that Daniel Jones will defeat Anthony Richardson in the battle for the Colts’ QB1 job.

“Justin Herbert is not a top 10 QB,” said a fan.

Having Josh Allen in the No. 6 spot is also a choice. After all, the reigning MVP and the Bills are the odds-on favorites to win Super Bowl 60 this year.

Mahomes didn’t have his best statistical campaign in 2024 (3,928 yards, 26 touchdowns and 11 interceptions). But KC won 15 of his 16 regular season starts and reached Super Bowl 59, only to be crushed by the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22.
