Kristin Davis Reveals ‘Melrose Place’ Star Refused to Speak to Her on Set. What Happened to Them?

Few actors have had as celebrated a career in the TV industry as Kristin Davis.

With a career spanning nearly 40 years, the 60-year-old Davis has appeared in a variety of iconic TV series over the years, including ER, General Hospital, Friends, Seinfeld, Sex and the City and the fan-favorite daytime soap opera, Melrose Place.

Appearing in 32 episodes of the Golden Globe-nominated show, Davis spoke about her time on the series on a recent episode of the Hey Dude… The ’90s Called, telling hosts Christine Taylor and David Lascher that it “felt like she won the lottery” when she was cast as ambitious intern Brooke Armstrong.

While Davis appreciated her time on the series, the Sex and the City star also revealed that, at times, the set could feel a bit “intimidating,” with one notable cast member refusing to even speak directly to Davis.

“There were just so many so many people [working on Melrose Place],” Davis recalled. “And I felt and I I have obviously seen all these people since then, and and so many of them are so lovely. But at the time … it was competitive.”

“I had my friends within like, Marcia Cross and I were were close, which was wonderful,” the actress continued. “But there was one [actor], you know, she wouldn’t speak to me. Like, she wouldn’t speak to me. I never had scenes with her, so it wasn’t an issue. But I say, like, ‘Good morning,’ [and the actress wouldn’t respond.]”

While Davis didn’t explicitly name the actress in question, she did reveal that she and her former co-star are on far better terms now than they were in the 1990s.

“She’s very nice to me now,” Davis said of the actress. “And sometimes I’m like, ‘Does she remember that she was being not that nice to me?’ ”
